The portable waterjet cutting machine is also referred to as the mobile waterjet. The machine can be loaded on a truck or trailer, allowing the cutting to be performed at the location of the object to be cut. The machine is comprised primarily of a high-pressure water jet pump, a cutting gun, and an abrasive feeder. The cutting gun is frequently mounted on a carrier that can move along specialised rails. In certain instances, the waterjet cutting gun can be handheld for specific requirements. Handheld waterjet cutting necessitates operator experience and adequate safety protection. In some cases, portable waterjet is submerged underwater to cut metal or concrete structures, such as underwater waterjet cutting of pipes or other applications.
