The customer produces custom small-sized parts for advertising signage, interior decoration and light hardware. Their existing laser process left visible burnt edges and burrs on acrylic, PVC and thin metal sheets.
Every order required time-consuming manual polishing. This increased labor cost, extended lead times and made mixed, small-batch work less profitable.
