01 · The Challenge
Routine Pump Maintenance Was Stopping the Entire Line
The customer runs a demanding production schedule and depends on its waterjet cutter around the clock. Like every ultra-high-pressure system, the pump still requires scheduled replacement of high-pressure seals, check valves and other wear components.
Whenever the original pump was taken offline, cutting stopped with it. Even planned service created production delays, lost output and delivery risk. The plant needed a highly reliable ultra-high-pressure pump with built-in maintenance redundancy.
02 · The Solution
One Pump System, Two Independent Intensifiers
Because stopping production was not an option, Yuanhong proposed the 7XR intensifier pump. Its dual-intensifier architecture provides an installed backup pressure source without requiring a second standalone pump.
Redundant Dual-Intensifier Design
Two complete, independent intensifiers are installed in one unit. One supports cutting while the other remains available as the backup.
Fast Operational Switching
When the active intensifier requires service, the operator can transfer pressure generation to the second intensifier and keep production moving.
Maintenance During Production
Technicians can service the isolated intensifier while the online intensifier continues supplying pressure to the cutting system.
Stable 60K PSI Performance
The 7XR delivers up to 4,137 bar (60,000 psi) for consistent cutting speed and edge quality across demanding materials.
